Winter Is Coming, and we have a winner! But really, you all are winners! Our donation drive Winter Is Coming – Give & Win was a big success. Valda Lake, owner of Wallspace L.A. had opened the doors of her gallery to us, providing a space for our supporters to stop by and drop off their donations. All in all, we received 78 sleeping bags, 18 tents and 20 tarps. Not in our wildest dreams did we expect these numbers. Amazing!

We thank anyone who donated from the bottom of our hearts!

It is always rewarding to do something good for others, and sometimes there even is an icing on the cake.

Jaime Lynn-Bach of Alhambra is the lucky recipient of a $300 Amazon gift card. Congratulations from all of us!

A big thank you also to DJ Cherish The Luv who came all the way from NY to spin awesome tunes for us!

With the temperatures recently dropping to the low 40s at night and the strong Santa Ana winds blowing people’s tents away, there was no time to dilly-dally.

We immediately started to distribute your donations to those in need, and it was not difficult to find happy takers.
