Christmas Gift Art Sale ….
A heart felt thanks to everyone who made our Christmas Gift Art Sale a success. Held at Wilde Wine Bar & Restaurant (thank you Lorna and Nader), original art by homeless youth and works donated by international and local artists became a meaningful holiday gift in many homes.
The sale gained international attention for promoting the art and raising funds for homeless youth.
We were touched by the effort our supporters made to attend the event. A special shout out to Xochitl and Brian who drove in all the way from Murietta with their three children to support our artists. Thank you for buying two pieces!
Also, a big shout out to our visitor Erik Larkin from The Last Bookstore for his tireless work at the Covenant House and for supporting the kids.
…. And Our First Annual Christmas Dinner
Two days after the art sale, A Million Drops had our first annual Christmas dinner. What a joy it was to the board members to break bread and share gifts with some of the homeless and at-risk youth that we have had the opportunity to help this past year.
A big thank you to Marco at PopKitch Catering for providing a delicious meal and Valda of WallSpace LA for providing us with a fantastic venue for our holiday party.
